Remember to tell us if your circumstances change
It's quick and easy to report a change in your circumstances. If you don't report your changes immediately, you could be committing benefit fraud:
- Last year an estimated £700 million was claimed and spent by benefit thieves.
- That's money that could have been spent on more local services including nurses, doctors, teachers, road improvements and more!
- Over the last 3 years we have prosecuted and sanctioned over 250 local people for benefit fraud.
