Proposals for a new leisure & retail complex in Lichfield City centre

Since the submission of the formal planning application in June 2006, a number of changes have been made to the Planning Application including:

  • The height of the hotel has been lowered
  • The heights of the shopping mall and the department store have both been lowered
  • Designs for the buildings that face toward St. John's hospital have been revised, including the removal of a storey
  • A new pedestrian pathway has been added next to TJ Hughes providing a further level, accessible, way into the development
There have been other changes to the design and layout of the scheme in response to comments and suggestions made during the public consultations earlier this year.
