The Council owns significant land and property assets within its boundaries. Through best practice and a risk management strategy, the Council tries to safeguard customers and members of the public from the risk of injury.

However if you have an accident and sustain injury, loss or damage, and you feel that the Council are responsible in some way, then you should first telephone the Council's Insurance Officer, on 01543 308022, who will then advise you either to write in, or try to direct you to the appropriate body.
