Parks and open spaces

Beacon Park FountainIf you enjoy the outdoors, there are loads of great parks across the district, offering a great range of activities from sailing, to fishing, to golf, to tennis and much more.

Our parks play host to activities throughout the year, and during the summer, months famous district events including Lichfield Proms in Beacon Park and Cars in the Park take place in Beacon Park in Lichfield.

Historic Parks

Beacon Park is now home to a new cafe, refreshment kiosk, toilets, a revamped playground, and a new bowls and education pavilion. This is after the Heritage Lottery Fund and Big Lottery Fund announced that Lichfield centre's historic parks have been awarded a grant of nearly £4million under the 'Parks for People' programme.
