A fantastic destination
With a city that's steeped in heritage and a district that's alive with action and adventure, we're well worth a visit!
Lichfield is Staffordshire's premier heritage city nestled in the heart of the country's most creative county, just north of Birmingham.
Packed with things to do and see - from glory of Lichfield Cathedral, the Lichfield Angel, the Staffordshire Hoard and the St Chad Gospels, to the thrills and spills of Drayton Manor, and the serenity of the National Memorial Arboretum - there's something to suit all tastes and budgets. With stunning architecture, both modern and historic, where every building has a tale to tell.

What we do
Visit Lichfield, our tourism team, works to produce a range of guides, websites, mobile applications, and literature to both encourage people to visit our district, and to make it easier for local people to get out and about. We also welcome people to our city and district, with guided tours, our tourist information centre, city and district signage and more. We also work to encourage more group tourists to our district and to make their visit as good as it can be. To find out more about our work, contact our tourist information centre on 01543 412112 or email info@visitlichfield.com
