Cracking Activities for Young People

Published on Monday 30th March 2009

Nothing to do this Easter? Why not take a look at the cracking programme the Aspire project has put together to keep young people busy this Easter?

If you are aged between 8 and 14 and live in North Lichfield, Edingale, Drayton Bassett, Fazeley or Mile Oak, then Lichfield District Council's Children's Fund Aspire Project can help keep holiday boredom at bay.

The Aspire Project has organised an excellent programme of activities to keep young people entertained this Easter. These include a Football Course, Musical Theatre Workshop, Play Session and an exciting trip!

And, don't worry the fun doesn't stop there. The Aspire Project runs term time weekly youth club sessions throughout the year from sports nights, art and craft sessions, free play, interesting projects and plenty of other cool activities.

Nick Baker, Aspire Development Officer for Lichfield District Council, said: "After consulting with 8 to 14 year-olds in the district, we put together our exciting holiday programme. So, if you live or go to school in our target areas, sign up to these fantastic Easter holiday activities and weekly youth club sessions."
