Another flytipper prosecuted

Ross Beaman, of Redwood Drive in Cannock, pleaded guilty to fly tipping at Tamworth Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 26 March.
Lichfield District Council started proceedings against Mr Beaman after they caught the 22 year-old dumping builders' rubble in Campsey Lane in Burntwood.
The court fined Mr Beaman £500 and ordered him to pay £810 court costs.
Councillor Ben Adams, Cabinet Member for Community, Housing and Health, said: "We're pleased with yet another successful result, and hope it reinforces our message that Lichfield District Council does not tolerate fly-tipping.
"We come down hard on anyone we catch dumping rubbish illegally because, not only does it blight our landscape, it is totally unfair that our residents should have to foot the bill to remove it."
