Cracking fun in Beacon Park
Published on Tuesday 7th April 2009
If you are stuck for things to do this Easter holiday, head down to Beacon Park, where you can take part in a Easter egg trail.
If you've got little ones take them down to Beacon Park to help the Easter bunny find her missing eggs. It only costs 50p to follow the trail, and once your child has spotted solved the clues, they will get a sticker! You can pick up a trail at the Golf Hut in Beacon Park every day from 10am to 4.30pm from 4 to 19 April.
Hungry after the Easter trail? Then pick up a picnic lunch from our catering unit in Beacon Park. This special packed lunch is only £1.80 and includes a sandwich, a chocolate bar, a packet of crisps and a drink. You can also get a free hot drink with every hotdog when you collect a voucher from the golf hut or one of the rangers on site.
Councillor Val Richards, Cabinet Member for Leisure Services, said: "There is something for the whole family to do and see in Beacon Park this Easter, including an Easter egg trail. Or why not take a leisurely stroll around the picturesque gardens, or enjoy a game of golf, tennis or bowls."
