Play Strategy (2007 - 2012)

Lichfield District's Play Partnership has completed a Play Strategy which looks at all of the district's play facilities and how they can be developed over the next five years. Within the strategy is a bid for £200,000 to the Big Lottery Fund which, if successful, will be spent on projects in Lichfield district that will give children many more opportunities to get outside, get active and play for free.

To draw up the Play Strategy, Mary Cooke, Play Development Manager, visited school councils at schools in Lichfield District, including Queens Croft, Chase Terrace Primary, and Chadsmead Primary to get children's views on what they think the district needs to be more fun at play time.
