Community surgery

Published on Monday, 17th September 2012

Local agencies are coming together to host a community surgery at Mill Lane Link in Fazeley on Monday 24 September between 6pm and 7.30pm

Mill Lane Link is opening its doors to host a community surgery for Fazeley and Mile Oak locals.

Taking place on Monday 24 September, between 6pm and 7.30pm, the surgery will be a chance to ask local agencies questions about policing, housing, council services, community projects and more.

Agencies, including Lichfield District Council, the police, Bromford Living, Fazeley Town Council and Fazeley and District Initiative, will be on hand to answer questions and to promote useful local services.

They will also be offering information on volunteering opportunities and how to access community grants for projects.

Colin Greatorex, Lichfield District Council's Cabinet Member for Community and Organisational Development, said: "We hope lots of people come to this September's community surgery. It will be a good way to access support and to tell us if their area could be improved, or if they need help with a local issue."
