Investing in local voluntary and community organisations consultation

  • Status: Closed
  • Open date: 7th July 2011
  • Close date: 31st August 2011

We are an enthusiastic supporter of local voluntary and community groups who provide a wide range of social, welfare, environmental, cultural and leisure services to our residents.

Since 2009, we have invested over £600,000 through three-year agreements with a number of local voluntary organisations to improve the quality of life in local communities. This is a substantial amount of money and it makes a big difference to the groups who receive it.

In April 2012, we will set up new three-year agreements and we want you to tell us what you consider to be the most important priorities for spending this money.

Please note: If you have already completed our current Citizens' Questionnaire, you will already have answered these questions, and your responses will be assessed as part of this consultation.

What next? Your responses will be considered by the district council when selecting the priority areas for our new three-year agreements.
