Housing associations

The following housing associations have properties in Lichfield district. Housing association properties are allocated through the housing register. Lichfield district do not own or manage any stock, so if you are a social housing tenant and you have a query about your tenancy you should contact your housing association directly. 

• Advance Housing and Support - offers supported housing for people with severe and enduring mental health issues.
• Bromford - owns and manages the majority of the district’s housing stock. This includes the stock that was transferred from Lichfield District Council via Large Scale Voluntary Transfer in 1997. They have a selection of social rent, affordable rent and shared ownership properties located across the district
• Housing 21 - provides sheltered housing for older people
• Jephson
• Mercian
• Midland Heart - the district’s second largest stock holder
• Optima - provides housing for older people
• Riverside
• Sanctuary - the district’s third largest stock holder
• Metropolitan - most of their properties in the district provides accommodation for people with mental health problems, assisting them to maintain tenancies and progress towards independent living
