Playschemes and summer activities

Summer 2010 is now here and Lichfield District Council has announced an exciting new range of activities and events that will entertain young people across the district all summer holiday.

Lichfield District Council's Summer of Leisure programme will be distributed to schools in May and will cover activities until September, with a wide range of playschemes, day trips and coaching sessions on offer.

The team of Play Rangers will also be visiting parks and public spaces throughout the district to run fun activities including including den building, assault courses, football, cricket, cooking and even a mobile skate park.
