Our commercial waste service for businesses

With effect from 30th October 2007 new rules regarding the disposal of commercial waste have been introduced.

The Landfill Directive states that you will have to deal with your waste differently and ensure that you recycle at least one type of material.

Recycling for businesses

Lichfield District Council are now able to provide a recycling service to businesses within the district.

For a small weekly cost we can provide recycling bins to enable you to recycle paper and card and glass jars, bottles, drinks and food cans and plastic bottles.

As a trade premises you have a Duty of Care to have a collection contract with a licensed carrier of waste.
