HomeZone housing association
Lichfield District Council transferred its housing stock in 1997 to HomeZone Housing Association.
HomeZone owns about 4500 properties in the District. In addition, they own and manage around 1700 garages, a series of local shops and help people to buy their own home through their shared ownership scheme. In March 2007 Homezone became part of the Bromford Housing Group.
They are also actively involved in urban regeneration and tackling fuel poverty by offering low cost gas and electricity.
The housing register is also now managed through the 'Your Choice' Partnership which is managed by Homezone Living on behalf of the partnership. The partnership also covers properties owned by Bromford, Orbit, Sanctuary, Midland Heart and Waterloo Housing Associations.
