Lichfield Proms in Beacon Park

Lichfield Proms in Beacon Park is Lichfield District Council's free annual outdoor concert for the whole family. Now in its fourteenth year, the event is an opportunity to enjoy a late summer evening of al fresco dining, live classical music and fireworks.

Since the first concert in 1998, Lichfield Proms has grown from strength to strength, establishing itself as an eagerly anticipated date in Lichfield's calendar.

Attracting up to 10,000 visitors from across the region, Lichfield Proms takes place in the stunning surroundings of Beacon Park. A brass band plays a programme of popular music, to warm up the crowd as they find their spots. This leads up to the main concert which features a symphony orchestra and classically trained singers performing a varied musical programme. The evening culminates with a rousing sing-song and a firework finale.
