Easter opening times
District Council House and our tourist information point at Lichfield Library will both be closed on Friday 30 March and Monday 2 April. We are open as normal on all other days.
Our opening times/out of hours
District Council House main reception in Lichfield City is open Monday - Friday between 8.45am and 5.15pm. (Please note: our council tax & benefits counter services close at 4pm on Wednesdays for staff training).

Police customer services counter at District Council House is open Monday - Friday between 9am and 5pm
If you need urgent assistance when our office/telephone lines are not open, please call our customer services number on 01543 308000, and follow the recorded instructions. There is a police assistance button on the front of District Council House for any out-of-hours police enquiries.
Our tourist information desk in Lichfield Library is open Monday to Saturday between 9.30am and 4pm . It is located on The Friary, WS13 6QG. Visit www.visitlichfield.co.uk for more information.

Please note: We fly a Union Flag on a pole on our District Council House building. During the winter months, we fly a smaller flag that will not put pressure on our flag pole and can withstand windier weather. During very high winds we may lower the flag for safety reasons.
Car The A38 and A5 link at Lichfield and provide access to the Midlands motorway network: M42, M50, M40, M5, M6, M6 Toll and M1. There are lots of nearby car parks - view our interactive car park map.
Bus Lichfield, Burntwood and the district's main villages are served by several bus companies that provide a range of services. For route and timetable information please call Travel Line on 0871 200 2233.
Rail Lichfield has two train stations. Lichfield City Station, which is on Birmingham Road, within the city centre and opposite the bus station. It offers frequent direct services to Birmingham New Street Station.
Lichfield Trent Valley Station, approximately 20 minutes walk from the city centre, has direct services to London Euston and the north. The station can be easily reached by car, taxi, or train from Lichfield City station. For train enquiries call 08457 484950 or visit www.rail.co.uk

You can drop off your documents or information to be sent to the main Frog Lane offices at Burntwood Library, Sankey's Corner. Council customers can also make payments using the secure deposit box.
