More than 200 people from the business community attended this year’s Tamworth and Lichfield Business Show, which took place at Drayton Manor Park on 22 November.
Dozens of exhibitors and over 200 visitors attended the highly anticipated event, which offered expert advice, support, new skills and tips to help take businesses to the next level – as well as invaluable networking opportunities.
The free entry event brought experts from various fields together under one roof for a packed programme of free talks, seminars and information stands – all designed to promote business growth.
The line-up featured several inspirational speakers, including successful business owners and entrepreneurs, as well as seminars on subjects such as marketing, branding, networking, sales, social media and much more.
Keynote speaker, Rosie Ginday, founder of Miss Macaroon, delivered a talk about her business story - how she does business differently and how sometimes a strong identity is all that a business needs to get its feet off the ground.
Other speakers included communication coach and business growth expert, Kim Arnold, who shared her secrets on doing less marketing to win more customers by uncovering your business’s unique value to eclipse the competition.
The Tamworth and Lichfield Business Show is organised by Tamworth and Lichfield for Business – a joint business support initiative between Tamworth Borough Council and Lichfield District Council.
Councillor Ian Pritchard, Lichfield District Council’s Cabinet Member for Economic Growth, Environment & Development Services, said:
“One of our key priorities is to support and encourage growth, and this event offered invaluable source of information for our local businesses. We had lots of positive feedback about the Business Show and are delighted so many people came along to network and gain a wealth of expert advice.”
Cllr Steven Claymore, Tamworth Borough Council’s Cabinet member for Regeneration, added:
“It was great to see an excellent turn out of visitors to the show, offering everyone the opportunity to meet some very inspiring entrepreneurs, get involved in a variety of interactive seminars and meet like-minded business people in the area.”
