Children and adults are invited to get creative this yuletide at Christmas tree decorations workshops in Beacon Park.
Lichfield District Council is inviting everyone to decorate a freestanding mini wooden Christmas tree or Christmas tree lantern at a series of workshops this December.
Four workshops will take place in Beacon Park’s Discovery Hub. The sessions for children will take place on Saturday 1 December from 9am to 10am and from 10.30am to 11.30am. The sessions for adults will also run on 1 December from 12noon to 2pm and from 2.30pm to 4.30pm.
Councillor David Leytham, Cabinet Member for Leisure, said:
“This is a chance to decorate a lovely festive decoration or lantern and to take it home with you. It is always nice to have something homemade to decorate your home with, so book onto one of our workshops and enjoy getting creative in the run up to Christmas.”
The workshops cost £3 or £2 with a Leisure Activity Passport for children, and £5 or £4 with a Leisure Activity Passport for adults. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
To book yours or you child’s place, please call Beacon Park on 01543 308867 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
