We have sent household enquiry forms to all local homes. The form confirms who lives in each household and who is eligible to vote.
It’s vital every household checks and responds to the household enquiry form*, as well as ensuring every eligible voter in their household is ALSO individually registered to vote.
The simplest way to register to vote is online at www.gov.uk/registertovote
*If you are eligible to vote in the Alrewas, Longdon and Armitage with Handsacre Neighbourhood Plan Referendums, please ensure you are registered to vote by 17 August 2018.
Neighbourhood plan referendums for Alrewas, Longdon, and Armitage with Handsacre will take place on Wednesday 5 September 2018.
We normally hold referendums on Thursdays, but because local schools will only just have returned after the summer break, we had to work out the best days to hold the referendums (2 polling stations will be in local school buildings) and selected Wednesday 5 September as the best day.
If you live in Alrewas, Longdon, or Armitage with Handsacre, you should receive your poll card later this week, which will tell you where to vote.
Remember if you want to vote in the referendums, you must make sure you have registered to vote at your current address by 17 August 2018 - find out more.
