Commissioner's Proceeds of Crime and People Power Funds
The commissioner’s Proceeds of Crime and People Power funding opportunities opened for applications on 1 August 2018 and close on 14 September 2018.
Applications should align to at least one of Staffordshire's Police Crime Commissioner's four priorities and also local community safety priorities. View guidance and full details on the commissioner's website.
Proceeds of Crime Fund
The Proceeds of Crime Fund is made up of money seized from criminals as Staffordshire Police continue to strip offenders of their assets. Applicants must have supported local community safety partnership activity for a minimum of one year in the the last three years to be eligible to apply, for example, as part of the Lichfield District Community Safety Partnership or other community safety forum. Applications can be made for amounts of between £3,000 and £15,000 with a view to becoming sustainable in the longer term.

People Power Fund
The commissioner's People Power Fund sets out to empower local communities to find solutions to community safety problems in their area through small grants of between £100 and £3,000.
These could range from the provision of positive activities for young people with the aim of reducing anti-social behaviour (ASB), mentor programmes for targeted groups within a community, through to funding reassurance activities and public confidence events in specific areas. Projects must have the support of the Lichfield District Safer Community Partnership.
