Lichfield District Locality Commissioning Board
We've joined forces with three other local public sector organisations, including Staffordshire County Council, the South East Staffordshire and Seisdon Peninsula Clinical Commissioning Group and Staffordshire Police (via the Police and Crime Commissioner) to combine our local funding streams into a single pot and to create a simple process to commission local services and projects.
We've called the new process Locality Commissioning - the term ‘commissioning’ covers the procurement process from needs assessment to monitoring and evaluating the impact of services and projects.
The process is being administered by the Lichfield District Locality Commissioning Board. The Board oversees the distribution of grants and makes investment decisions on behalf of Lichfield District Board using funds delegated to it by the public sector partners. For the terms of reference and membership of the board please download the terms of reference.
We hope the process will mean we will be able to fund a wider set of outcomes to benefit local people.
Improving wellbeing funding
We launched the first major round of funding Improving Wellbeing in Lichfield District 2015 - 2018 in December 2014, followed by a second round in June 2015. Find out who received 'improving wellbeing' funding for 2015 - 2018.
Other funding streams
Throughout the year we will also launch other funding initiatives to deliver activities across the district. The opportunities will be published to the community funding section.
