We are seeking your views to help us shape our budget.
To find out more about how we fund local local services, and to give your views on next year's spending, please take part in our Your View questionnaire.
The Your View questionnaire is available to fill in online at www.lichfielddc.gov.uk/yourview until 5pm on Wednesday 21 November 2018.
We look forward to getting your views!
If you have already signed up to our 2018 garden waste service, you will continue to receive fortnightly collections of your garden waste until early December 2018.
We will open 2019 subscriptions on 29 October 2018, when you will be able to subscribe for collections between January 2019 – December 2019.
Subscriptions for 2019 collections cost £36 for each bin you would like emptied. If you are current garden waste customer we will send you an email or a letter to let you know subscriptions for 2019 are open.
If you signed up in 2018, but choose not to sign up for 2019, your collections will stop in December, regardless of when you signed up during 2018 – check our www.lichfielddc.gov.uk/bincalendar to find out when your last collection will take place.
Thank you for being a garden waste customer in 2018 and we look forward to taking your order for 2019.
In this section you can find information on the work that our Housing Strategy Team does to understand and address housing needs in the district.
We produce a range of strategies and plans, which outline how we will work in partnership to meet our priorities for housing that are set in our Housing Strategy 2013 – 17.
We also work with our housing association partners to try to develop a wide range of new affordable homes.
In addition to this we monitor the number of empty homes in the district, and work to try and bring them back into use. For more information, see the empty properties page.
