Skills development support for SMEs
The higher level skills match programme provides support for small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) to reduce the gap locally between the skills businesses need, and the skills job applicants have.
With Higher Level Skills Match you will have access to an account manager who will help you define the skill-set your SME requires. Your account manager will then work with you to match your needs to work-ready and highly skilled local graduates, ensuring you get the talent you need to drive your business forward. There is no financial cost to your business.
You will also gain access to a range of training and development opportunities for you and your employees, enabling you to boost your company’s skills and maximise growth potential.
For more information, please visit the Higher Level Skills Match website.
The programme was created by Birmingham City University, Aston University and Newman University, with support from Cannock Chase, Lichfield district and Tamworth local authorities. The project is part funded by the European Social Fund (ESF) and is for SMEs within the Greater Birmingham and Solihull Local Enterprise Partnership area, which includes Lichfield District.
