Views are sought on the trial pedestrianisation of Lichfield city centre

Prior to the launch of the formal consultation, the council sought informal views of businesses, residents and visitors across the city and district thorugh a series of drop-in sessions.

Formal consultation with residents and businesses is now taking place as part of the ETRO to ensure that pedestrianisation continues to offer the best option for the city centre.  

To give your views on the proposed pedestrianisation (as part of the ETRO), please fill in our feedback form.

You can give your views at any point during the Experimental Traffic Regulation Order (ETRO), however we encourage people to give their views as soon as possible.

Following changes to the ETRO in July 2023, all residents, businesses, blue badge holders, and stakeholders are encouraged to take part in the new consultation process. Drop-in events will be hosted on:

Tuesday 21 November & Tuesday 23 January.
