Small Projects Fund
The Small Projects Fund is a small grants scheme offered by the Lichfield District Safer Community Partnership with funding from the Office of the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner. We are looking to fund small scale projects which help support the delivery of our community safety priorities. Projects should promote community involvement, develop stronger communities and demonstrate a problem solving approach to reducing crime and disorder and the fear of crime.
Grants of up to £500 are available for statutory, not for profit and community and voluntary sector organisations and schools. In exceptional circumstances, where projects strongly meet more than one of the community safety priorities we may consider grant requests over £500.
The project must meet at least one of the community safety priorities as identified by the strategic assessment:
- Anti-social behaviour
- Domestic Abuse
- Awareness raising and public reassurance (particularly around the key crime areas of car key burglary, fraud, modern day slavery, hate crime and prevent)
- County Lines
- Vulnerable persons with alcohol misuse issues
We will also consider funding projects which are aimed at addressing issues affecting the city centre, such as business related crime and city centre anti-social behaviour.
