Staying safe

Lichfield District is a very safe place to live and work.

According to the community safety strategic assessment 2017, the rate of all crime in 2016/2017 in Lichfield District (at 49.2 per 1,000 population) is below the England average of 74.1 and ranks third lowest out of the nine areas within Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent.

However, we can all do things to make sure we stay safe and reduce our chance of being a victim of crime.
