Coronavirus (COVID-19): Public health advice
New temporary and precautionary measures following the emergence of the Omicron variant in the UK from 30 November 2021:
- Wearing a face covering is compulsory on public transport and in shops. Not including hospitality.
- All international arrivals entering the UK must take a day two PCR test and self-isolate until they receive a negative result.
- All contacts of suspected Omicron cases must self-isolate for ten days, regardless of their vaccination status. They will be contacted by NHS Test and Trace.
