Bromford support with Coronavirus (COVID-19)
Bromford is the largest provider of affordable homes in Lichfield and have a dedicated team working really hard to ensure customers feel supported, and face as little service disruption as possible, throughout this unprecedented time.
In light of the Prime Minister’s latest announcement where he told people to stay at home in order to protect the NHS and save lives, Bromford have moved quickly to change the way it delivers services.
Bromford is continuing to operate services in the following areas:
- Where an engineer needs to attend a customer’s home to complete any emergency or immediately dangerous repair, a gas service, or a priority fire safety work.
- Where it works with a care partner to ensure the effective operation of specialist accommodation for older or vulnerable people. This includes people living in Extra Care housing, Retirement Living and MyPlace accommodation.
- Where services are delivered remotely, predominantly over the telephone. This consists of neighbourhood coaches, specialist support teams and the customer service team.
Another measure Bromford have taken, in line with government advice on social distancing, is the temporary closure of its Stowe Road office to the public. This will be reviewed continuously moving forwards.
Bromford understand that customers may have many questions and would urge you to continue getting in touch with your neighbourhood coach in the first instance, as you normally would. Find out who your neighbourhood coach is on Bromford's website.
Bromford have also compiled a list of the most frequently asked questions (FAQs) on their Coronavirus Hub to answer any burning queries you may have. It covers everything from repairs, to rent, to tips on how to entertain yourself during a period of self-isolation.
