Arts council recovery funding

Cultural organisations (both profit and not for profit) can apply for funding.

  • Round one: 10 to 21 August
  • Round two 21 August to 4 September

It is highly encouraged to apply for the first round of funding, you apply online for a minimum grant of £50,000-£3million.

Society of Authors: Authors' Emergency Fund

The Authors' Emergency Fund is intended to help support authors who have been impacted financially by the growing health crisis.

Grants are likely to be up to £2,000 and designed to meet urgent need.

Make a Difference Trust

This fund is designed to provide support to theatre industry members who are experiencing financial distress as a direct result of COVID-19.

It will look to provide small pockets of financial assistance up to £200 to meet unexpected expenses that will cause hardship.

Arts Council England

National Lottery project grants is the arts councils open access programme for arts, museums and libraries projects.

The fund supports thousands of individual artists, community and cultural organisations.

Children and Young Adults

The Prince’s Trust Enterprise Relief Fund

The Enterprise Relief Fund aims to help 18-30-year old entrepreneurs keep their businesses afloat during the COVID-19 crisis.

The programme has a total budget of £5 million.

The initiative offers flexible access to grants and tailored business support. Levels of individual grants have not been specified.

Magic Little Grants 2020

The Postcode Community Trust and Localgiving are providing charities and community groups with the opportunity to apply for grants of up to £500. Magic Little Grants are currently accepting applications until 31 October 2020.

BBC Children in Need: Booster Grants

Are launching two new Covid-19 Response Grants.

The Covid 19-2020 Booster Grants programme will open to current BBC CIN grant-holders from Monday 18th May 2020 and will enable organisations to apply for funding up to £5,000 over a 6-month period.

The Covid-19 Large Grants programme will open to applications from 8 June 2020 and will enable organisations to apply for funding up to £80,000 over an 18-month period.

BBC Children in need: Inspiring futures

The COVID-19 Inspiring Futures Programme has been developed in partnership with Youth Futures Foundation.

The Inspiring Futures programme is open for applications from Friday 10th July until 11.30am on Friday 31 July 2020.

BBC Children in Need and Youth Futures Foundation are partnering to deliver Inspiring Futures, a £6 million programme to fund positive activities which support children and young people to achieve their potential on their journey towards employment.

The COVID-19 pandemic is heightening existing challenges for children and young people looking to access further education, training, and work.
