The Covid 19-2020 Booster Grants programme will open to current BBC CIN grant-holders from Monday 18 May 2020 and will enable organisations to apply for funding up to £5,000 over a 6-month period.
The Covid-19 Large Grants programme will open to applications from 8 June 2020 and will enable organisations to apply for funding up to £80,000 over an 18-month period.
BBC Children in need
BBC Children in Need award funding across several programmes. As always there is great demand for our funding, and we want to make sure our funding reaches the whole of the UK.
Our recent programmes received on average five times more applications than we could fund. Please consider our guidance carefully before making an application.
Equipment grants for youth clubs
Variety, the Childrens Charity, has grants of £250 to £600 available to youth organisations that are affiliated to either Ambition, UK Youth or the or National Association of Boys and Girls Clubs.
The grants can be used to buy equipment to provide challenging activities that engage young people aged 8-18 and provide them with alternatives to becoming involved in the anti-social behaviour that often stems from boredom and peer pressure.
On occasion, applications for improvement of youth club premises, refurbishment of existing equipment or facilities will also be considered.
