Going cashless

From 1 May 2020 we are removing the payment boxes from District Council House at Frog Lane in Lichfield and from Burntwood Library.

This is because receiving money through cash boxes is costly and outdated and there are more convenient ways to pay us.

We will also stop issuing Post Office payment cards.

Pay your council tax, business rates or an invoice by direct debit

By far the most convenient way to pay your council tax or business rates is by direct debit. You can also pay for an invoice by setting up a direct debit.

It is a quick, easy and safe way to pay with a full guarantee against errors. We make sure you always pay the correct amount at the right time without the need to remember when a payment is due.

If you pay by direct debit, you can choose a payment date of the 1st or 18th of the month.

Please have your account/reference number to hand.
