Lichfield District Council is working with Freedom Leisure and The FA to host weekly football sessions for women who are aged over 30.

The sessions will run each week at Burntwood Leisure Centre from Friday 7 June between 7pm and 8pm.

Councillor Liz Little, Cabinet Member responsible for Leisure, said:

“This is a great initiative to get more women playing football. The Moms Play sessions are also a good way to meet other women, improve your football skills, and to take part in healthy exercise.”

Moms Play costs £2.50 a session and there is no need to book.
