Business football league kicks off

In partnership with The FA, Lichfield District Council has set up a Business Football League.

Businesses from across the district, including Police Mutual and Central England Co-operative Limited, have already put forward teams and the council is pleased to announce this year’s games.

This season’s fixtures are:

  • 28 October – Police Mutual vs The WIP
  • 4 November – Lichfield District Council FC vs Central England Co-operative Limited
  • 18 November – Lichfield District Council FC vs Police Mutual
  • 25 November – Central England Co-operative Limited vs The WIP
  • 20 January – Police Mutual vs Central England Co-operative Limited
  • 27 January – The WIP vs Lichfield District Council FC
  • 17 February – The WIP vs Police Mutual
  • 24 February – Central England Co-operative Limited vs Lichfield District Council FC
  • 23 March – Police Mutual vs Lichfield District Council FC
  • 30 March – The WIP vs Central England Co-operative Limited
  • 20 April – Central England Co-operative Limited vs Police Mutual
  • 27 April – Lichfield District Council FC vs The WIP

All the games will start at 7.15pm and will be played at Defence Medical Services, Whittington Barracks, Whittington, Lichfield WS14 9PY.
