Championing the district in English Tourism Week

English Tourism Week 2022 commences today and the team at Visit Lichfield have lined up some exciting activities to promote the district.

Visitor Packs for use by the district’s tourism businesses are being launched and include a Visitor Guide, Short Breaks guide, a Visitor Map, Heritage Trail, Minster Trail, Sculpture Trail, Guided Walks and Visit Lichfield Card.

Guided tours taking place include a Gruesome and Ghostly Tour tomorrow (Saturday, March 19), a Lichfield Literature Tour on Monday (March 21), a Discover Lichfield Tour on Thursday (March 24), a Lichfield Literature Tour on Friday (March 25) and Lichfield’s Notable Women Tour on Sunday (March 27).

Visit Lichfield has also worked with numerous tourism businesses to produce a series of short videos promoting attractions including Lichfield Cathedral, Drayton Manor Park, the National Memorial Arboretum, Three Spires Shopping Centre, Chasewater Country Park, The George Hotel, Swinfen Hall Hotel, Beacon Park and Upstairs by Tom Shepherd, the only restaurant in Staffordshire with a coveted Michelin Star.
