Sponsors back Lichfield Proms in Beacon Park
One of the highlights of the district’s social calendar, Lichfield Proms in Beacon Park, has secured sponsorship from a host of local businesses.
The free event attracts up to 15,000 people each September from the district and further afield all eager to enjoy an evening of stirring music as the sun goes down.
With local musicians, a prominent symphony orchestra, singers and fireworks exploding to the rousing favourite Land of Hope and Glory, Proms is always a popular draw.
It would, however, not be possible without the generosity of local businesses and we wish to thank them for supporting the event through sponsorship and advertising this year.
Our thanks to Gold sponsors Strongs Plastic Products and Brownhill Hayward Brown; Silver sponsors Rotary Club of Lichfield St Chad, Lichfield Chamber of Trade and Commerce, More Space 4 U, Zest education, Prizm Solutions and Tenet Mortgage Solutions and Bronze sponsors Wilcox Refinishers, Blue Print Design, The Best of Lichfield, Keelys LLP Solicitors, Beacon Street Garage and C residential.
Thanks also to Lichfield City Council and Swinfen Broun Trust for their support and county councillors Richard Cox, Janet Eagland, Colin Greatorex and David Smith who have each pledged money from their Staffordshire County Council 2022 Community Fund allocation.
Councillor Andy Smith, Lichfield District Council’s Cabinet Member for Leisure, said:
“Lichfield Proms in Beacon Park is always a fantastic occasion enjoyed by thousands of people.
“We wish to thank all the businesses that have come forward as sponsors and advertisers to help make it happen again this year.”
This year’s Lichfield Proms in Beacon Park takes place on Saturday September 3.
It’s not too late to take advantage of sponsorship and advertising opportunities at the event. The Bronze, Silver and Gold packages all offer inclusion in Proms promotional activity and the event’s programme together with VIP seating and parking.
Businesses can also advertise in our Lichfield Proms programme from just £100. The A5 glossy programme, which contains song lyrics from the programme of music, is full colour and sold for £1 at the event.
