About Lichfield District Council

We’re the local council for the Lichfield District, and one of our biggest goals is simple but powerful:

Whether you’re here for a short stay or longer, we’re working hard behind the scenes to support you, improve housing in the area, and tackle homelessness with long-term solutions.

What we’re doing:

• Investing in new homes – buying and building better temporary accommodation
• Improving housing pathways – helping people move on to stable housing
• Protecting tenant rights – fair rents, safe buildings, support when you need it
• Partnering with LWMTS to deliver responsive, local housing services

We are the landlord of our temporary and housing pathway scheme properties and we commission LWMTS to look after them for us from a property perspective. Our housing team delivers support to those people living in our temporary and housing pathway scheme properties.
