Canvass email scams
We’ve been made aware of a scam email asking residents to update their voter registration details and provide bank details to pay a fee. This message is not from Lichfield District Council and you shouldn’t click any links, make a payment or provide bank details for voter registration.
If we contact you as part of the annual canvass, our legitimate emails will direct you to www.householdresponse.com/lichfield, asking you to check or confirm household elector details using the security codes provided. We will not ask for bank details or request a payment to update the electoral register.
