Vapes and batteries
Please do not throw vapes or batteries in any of your bins. These can set on fire and risk our vehicles, crew safety and the safety of the processing plants that sort your waste.

Keeping council tax low
We keep around 9% of the council tax you pay to deliver services, including bins, parks, planning, housing support, environmental health and more. The average household will pay 8p more a week towards our services this year.

Protecting services and investing locally
We’ve agreed a balanced budget for 2026/27, with our element of council tax increasing by 1.99% to support vital services and £4.68 million of investment locally.
