Our waste and recycling crews worked really hard in today’s heat to empty as many bins as possible - we also put extra staff on to help keep services running. Our crews walk more than 12 miles a day and each team empties around 1,200 bins, which is a huge task in such high temperatures. Unfortunately, despite everyone’s best efforts, we missed a small number of streets - we are very sorry if your bin or bag was not emptied as a result. If your bin/bag wasn’t emptied please leave it out and we will return to empty it in the next few days. If your bin/bag collection is due later this week, please put them out as normal.
