More people, more active, more often
We are developing vision statements for key council-owned park across the district, setting out their potential and opportunities, as well as identifying funding options.
As part of this we've been are working to invest £600,000 into Beacon Park in 2025 - 2026, and a further £150,000 into parks and open spaces across the district between 2025 & 2028, as well as £225,000 to boost the cleanliness of local wards between 2025 & 2028.
This investment programme ties into our work to gain Green Flag status for key parks in Lichfield City and Burntwood.
Vision statements for our parks will be developed through engagement with local ward councillors, clubs, user groups and local residents.
