Stowe Pool provides a relaxing setting for course fishing: roach, perch, carp, pike and tench.
Day tickets are available from the ranger on site.
Season tickets are also available from Beacon Park’s Ranger Station, next to the crazy golf course.

- 90 pegs available (11m apart)
- Depths from 3ft to 21ft plus (dependent on water levels)
- No closed season
- Please follow our fishing rules. We reserve the right to exclude any ticket holder
It is forbidden to introduce new fish into Stowe Pool as it is a SSSI site and doing so can introduce infection into the fish population and lead to fish deaths. Thank you for your understanding.
No swimming
Swimming is not permitted in Stowe Pool.
This is because swimming in reservoirs such as Stowe Pool unsupervised is dangerous and can lead to loss of life – the reservoir is deep in places, has unexpected currents and is very cold in places even during hot temperatures.
We also recommend dogs do not swim in Stowe Pool or drink water from it.
Match fishing
Stowe Pool is also available to hire for matches and competition.
