Some smaller parishes meet together in order to make decisions including:
- Farewell, Chorley, Elmhurst and Curborough.
- Clifton Campville and Thorpe Constantine.
There are eight warded parishes in the district. A warded parish is one that has been divided into wards for electoral purposes. This means:
- The parish is split into smaller geographical areas (called wards).
- Each ward elects one or more councillors to the parish council.
- This structure is usually used in larger or more populous parishes, to ensure fair and local representation across different parts of the parish.
The eight warded parishes are:
- Burntwood
- Drayton Bassett
- Fradley & Streethay
- Hammerwich
- Lichfield
- Shenstone
- Wigginton & Hopwas
- Longdon
When voting you will only be able to vote for parish councillors in your parish/ward.
