Free advice and support drop-in sessions
If you're looking for advice about money, benefits, housing, employment or your wellbeing, why not come along to one of our free community drop-in sessions?
Our drop-in sessions bring together Lichfield District Council teams and a range of trusted local organisations, making it easy to access advice and support in one place. Friendly experts will be on hand to answer your questions, offer guidance and help you find the right support for your circumstances.
You can get help with:
- Council tax, discounts, exemptions and payment plans
- Housing benefit, council tax support and discretionary housing payments
- Universal Credit and other benefits
- Debt, budgeting, energy costs and keeping your home warm
- Housing and tenancy support
- Employment, careers and volunteering opportunities
- Mental health, wellbeing and community support
- Waste and recycling enquiries (at selected sessions)
- Other Lichfield District Council services
Support is available from Lichfield District Council, Jobcentre Plus, Citizens Advice South East Staffordshire, Beat the Cold, Support Staffordshire, social prescribers, Bromford Housing and a range of other local organisations.
