You can pay your business rates in a number of ways:

By direct debit

The easiest way to pay your business rates is by direct debit - payments are taken on a ten monthly basis (April - January), with no payments in February and March.

You can choose to have your payments taken out of your bank account on either on the first of each month.

To set up a Direct Debit, visit our business rates portal. Read our privacy notice. Make sure you have your banking details and your business rates reference to hand.

Alternatively fill in and submit a Direct Debit form - business rates and return it to:

Business rates payments team, Lichfield District Council, District Council House, Frog Lane, Lichfield, Staffs WS13 6YX.

*Apply for 12-month instalments by 10 March for payments to start in April. Late applications may result in fewer instalments. Keep paying your current instalments until notified of the revised amount.
