I paid by card/smart phone at the parking machine, and the machine went out of order, can I request a refund?
Most machines that go out of service will not take money from your account as the process of taking payment failed.
A charge may show on your bank account as pending for a few days. If this isn't reversed and the money is taken (allow 3 - 4 days), please email us at parking@lichfielddc.gov.uk to request a refund.
Do I need to pay again if my ticket hasn’t come out of the machine?
Yes, you will need to display your ticket in the vehicle window screen unless you are parked at our Friary Multi Storey car park (ANPR pay before exit) or through the pay by phone online application.

If I have a problem with a machine, can I leave a note on my car?
No sorry, our CEO’s will not accept notes and you may get a parking fine.
