Solar panels advice

Staffordshire Community Energy is a nonprofit community energy society based in Staffordshire who work with organisations and site owners (local authorities, schools, leisure centres, charities, SMEs, and community groups) to deploy, green community energy projects, including the installation of solar panels.

They work with organisations to assess, develop and deliver larger-scale solar projects that benefit local communities. They can offer:

• Assessment, development and delivery (installation) of community‑owned solar projects on public, commercial and community buildings
• Advice to public bodies, community organisations and businesses on site suitability
• Capital funding raised via community share offers giving local-residents and businesses the opportunity to invest in the project
• Surplus income recycled into local community benefit funds
• They are not a direct household retrofit provider
