Be mindful of Christmas presents. Gifts stacked under the tree may look festive, but if they’re visible from windows or doors, they can attract thieves.
- keep presents out of sight from windows
- don’t leave packaging outside that shows expensive items have been bought
- secure sheds and garages where gifts might be stored
- If you're going away for Christmas:
