Indoor built facility strategy

We are producing an indoor built facility strategy for the district. A key part of this strategy is consulting with local sports clubs.

Max Associates, who have been commissioned to produce the strategy, have created an online survey for sports clubs to complete to let us have your feedback on indoor facilities in the council area. The questions include membership levels, future plans, if you have sufficient supply of indoor space for your club to train/play, quality of the facilities you use and any other feedback you would like to give.

There are several benefits to sports clubs being part of this consultation:

• Stronger community integration – reinforces sports clubs role as part of local community.
• Collaboration and partnership opportunities – encourages shared use of facilities.
• Understanding and responding to local needs – helps identify gaps in provision and areas where partnerships could address requirements.
• Recognition and representation – highlights role of sports clubs in delivering community sport and ensures clubs and members are represented across the Lichfield District Council area.
• Effective use and planning of facilities – allows for strategic investment, ensuring resources are targeted where they are most needed.
