There are an number of bleed kits across the district that are free to use in an emergency. The kits have been funded by the Lichfield District Community Safety Partnership, through funding provided by the Police, Fire & Crime Commissioner's Office.

Did you know? If someone has an accident, is a victim of knife crime or becomes injured in a mass-casualty incident – the single most preventable cause of death is bleeding.

Stop the Bleed Day is an initiative created by the CitizenAID charity in partnership with Greater Manchester Violence Reduction Unit.

We are working to deliver bleed kits and Stop the Bleed training to people aross the district on how to stop the bleed.

If your service would like to have Stop the Bleed Training please contact the community safety team by email.
